Two militants killed in Handwara encounter : Police | KNO

Srinagar, November 13 (KNO) : Two militants, who attacked a joint party of Police, Army and CRPF, were killed in exchange of fire in north Kashmir’s Handwara area on Monday evening. The militants fired upon a joint party of Police Handwara, 21 RR and 92 Bn CRPF who were performing Naka duties near Sultanpora Crossing, Zachaldara in the jurisdiction of police station Handwara. The attack was repulsed and both the militants were killed by the timely retaliation of the alert Security personnel. The slain militants were identified as Toib of Sopore and Ashiq of Palhallan Pattan and were affiliated with HM outfit (KNO)
